Mark is our founder and president. With an extensive teaching background, Mark holds an MBA and multiple teaching certifications, specializing in robotics and technology education. He has coached award-winning robotics teams and is passionate about inspiring the next generation of innovators. Mark is also a seasoned presenter at various educational conferences and a USAF veteran.
Lucas Galey is a biomedical engineer with a PhD centered on robotic prosthetics. He currently spends the majority of his time teaching freshman engineering courses at UTEP, but also serves as Executive Director for LIMBS International, a local non-profit focused on providing prosthetics and rehabilitation to the less fortunate. He loves tinkering with electronics, robotics, and his 3d printer, and is passionate about STEM education and projects.
Bonnie Teng has her Masters in Public Accounting (MPA) from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and spent her career in the DC, New York and Dallas offices at PwC, the largest accounting firm in the world. She left as a manager to co-own and manage her husband’s orthodontic practices in El Paso, where she handled everything from the finances to HR to marketing for 10 years.
Gina is a data scientist working on machine learning and generative AI technologies in banking and insurance. Before joining the private sector, she taught advanced analytics and led an AI/ML consulting group out of UTEP for several years. She loves working with, mentoring, and investing in students as well as being involved with VEX Robotics as a judge and referee.
